Letter to a Fool

Dear Mr. Bin Laden,

To threaten a great holy man, as you did to the holy father in your foolish address is to show how truly inept you are. Why would you even consider harming a Man of God. The holy father Pope Benedict is a great man. He has begun to make serious strides in speaking out against the violence that America has been creating in the Middle East. He has spoken on the peace that is needed to return to the Ways of Jesus. Ways of Peace.

Abraham the father of two great religions has given to us the descendant Moses. Moses gave us God's Ten Commandments. One of them is Thou Shall not kill. It is simple. God has decreed this. He doesn't say you may kill if the other guy did it first. He doesn't say you may kill if it is to protect the innocent. He says Thou shall not kill. Period. End of Story.

I only hope that the light of Jesus will find you and God can forgive you for the atrocities you are responsible for. I know you are not a man of God, but a greedy spoiled child. The Pope is a sacred man whom you should recognize as a man of peace. He is trying to make America better by visiting it and speaking to his missionaries who have a chance of making real change in the region. I would think America not attacking the Muslim world would have been your ultimate goal. But apparently you like that war too much. It must drive thousands to your cause of hate. You have put the lie to all you say by threatening a great man such as Pope Benedict.

May the Light of Christ find you and show the Truth of the Good Word to you...and your kin. May Jesus protect our great holy father, whom all should respect.
